bluebear837 aka Patrick Cheung charged .00 for shipping a 2oz item. He shipped it in a manila envelope about 4x6 inches, for .64. Ebay requires sellers to charge actual shipping and handling, which would have actually cost him about .74.
I asked him to combine shipping on another item, and he refused, saying "ebay is for deals, not steals" and implied that he needed to make up the cheap cost of his items with high shipping and handling charges.
It's a small amount, but when I looked back through his sales and items, it appears that most of his many sales are set up this way, to hook in buyers with low prices, and then make extra money with more shipping and handling.
In the end, I should have bought the real Frederic Fekkai product from someone who charged real shipping, and it would have cost less than Cheung's total cost for his "repackaged" and unlabeled product from Fekkai.
