My hair is somewhat unruly even though I take care of my hair. What are you best recommended flat irons and hair straighteners? My price range is anything less than $ 100. Please let me know where I can get it and what you like about your flat iron or hair straightener.
To give you a little bit of background, my current hair routine includes:
- Washing ever other day
- Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Shampoo
- Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner
- L'Oreal EverPure Moisture Deep Restorative Masque (twice a week)
- Watts Beauty Argan Oil (4 drops when hair is towel dry)
And I dyed my hair black one week ago so my hair is a bit more dry than usual. I usually air dry my hair and use a blow dryer may be once a week.
I hope that gives you a good idea of my hair state and if you have any recommendations of your hair routine or any favorite hair products you use, I would love to know because I hate how my hair feels right now :(
Thanks!!!

Sedu! I have a pink Sedu straightener, and a mini sedu straightener for shorter hair like bangs.
ReplyDeleteI also use Sedu's Argan oil. (Good choice on choosing any Argan oil, as a fact)
In Styler :))
ReplyDeleteRemember to use heat protectant before straightening your hair. Especially now that your hair is dryer. I think you would like the karmin titanium, it's within your budget and it makes hair look awesome, lol. It has ceramic in it so it won't damage your hair and it has tons of heat settings and features, look it up and try to get it from a hair site that ships for free, I got it off one of those but I honestly can't remember the name of the site!
ReplyDeleteFor the hair straightener I have hair similar to yours. I have 4 hair straighteners and my two favourites that I absolutely love so much are the gvp hair straightener from sallys beauty supply http://www.sallybeauty.com/black-flat-iron/SBS-264849,default,pd.html and the solia hair straightener from folica http://www.folica.com/tools/flat-irons/solia-pink-limited-edition-flat-iron-one
ReplyDeleteI love both these flat irons and think they're amazing!!!
For hair products try the Garnier Fructis sleek and shine hair serum http://www.garnier.ca/_en/_ca/haircare/hc-fructis-sleek-shine/anti-frizz-serum.htm
Its lightweight, smells so good and just put a couple pumps in your hair and it leaves it so soft and silky!!!
The one n only argan oil from sallys beauty supply is really really good too!
also try the paul mitchell super skinny serum that you can get at any salon. It smells really good and makes your hair so soft and shiny!!!
One more tip is to coat the bottom half of your hair with coconut oil and leave it in for about an hour then shampoo and condition your hair as normal and it will really help i promise!!!! I like coconut oil for this but you could also use olive oil.
CHI has always been the best. Trust me. They can be a little pricey, but a slightly older version will be under $ 100.
ReplyDeleteCHI its the best and worth the price.
ReplyDeleteKarmin titanium, it's $ 99
ReplyDeleteI kno what you mean! I have the same problem and I would consider everything I do to be pretty healthy for my hair, yet it's still unruly. Then I started using the HSI Styler Ceramic Tourmaline straightener which has been a holy grail of all straighteners and makes my hair look amazing. I think based on your budget of less than $ 100, you would absolutely love this product. I got mine online based on the great reviews and although retail is very pricey, if you get it online you can get a great price, you can check it more reviews and see if you like the product features and all:

Also, I would highly recommend using a heat protectant for your hair anytime you use heat on your hair. It makes a huge difference on the result and also it will protect your hair on the long run. I use TIGI S-Factor Flat Iron Spray and really like it:

Hope you like these products as much as I do! :)
