Its finished! This took a whole day to make but I am satisfied with it now. I hot glued the clip to the flower and then used acrylic paint to match my hair color. I did have to build up cupped area with paper so that there would be a flat solid surface to glue the clip onto. I took a long strip of paper and repeatedly folded and glued to get a long thin hard wedge slightly less in size then the metal clip. then I used a lot of hot glue to fill in the circular cup and "sink" the base into.
a better idea would have been to glue on velcro to each piece. In this way I could have a removable/ changeable clip! But I could not find my velcro, so I just made the whole thing permanent.
I also made sure to leave enough of the clip handle hanging out so I could actually grasp it to put in my hair.
Dress Rehearsal for the fashion show is October 22. I will have pictures taken of me wearing everything. Stay tuned for the final photos then.hair colour ideas
