Word of mouth. Instead of trying to convince clients to get haircuts they don't want, listen to them and give them the haircut THEY want. Move to a city and build a base of dedicated clients and slowly charge higher prices to bring in a wealthier crowd. Also invest in a publicist once you have some experience and reputation. Publicists can do wonders, such as get you in a top list of best hair stylists in a city. ^_^
