I would have to say that of all the attractions, Ollivanders really makes you feel like you have stepped in to Harry's world. While we did have to wait an hour for a five minute show, I would say it was worth it, and a must see when visiting for the first time. Would I do it again? Absolutely, if the wait time was less...
The child that was chosen for the wand selection process was wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers, so she didn't look the part during the demonstration. The shopkeeper, however, spotted a girl in the group wearing a student's robe and asked her if she had her wand. When she replied that she didn't, he asked her to see him after the demonstration.
I stuck around as people funneled out of the tiny shop, because this was going to be a perfect photo opportunity. As you can see, the girl had long red hair, so it was almost as if a Weasley was there to get her wand.
On a side note, they should have a contest to guess the number of wand boxes in that tiny little shop. The number is certainly in the high tens of thousands!
