A producer i worked with a while ago asked me if i could photograph some behind the scene stuff for a friend of his. it paid pretty well for a few hours of work and i was able to soak in and learn by watching bigger and better photogs. The photographer on the shoot is Michael Brandt. He is an AMAZING beauty photographer. It is funny, about 2 or 3 years ago i picked up this magazine and it had these shots he took that i loved. They were my favs for a grip. I would love for my professional career to go in that direction. ouxu i need you to get back to nyc so we can up my folio game!
The company sells hair products and the top two photos are from the first day when they cut the girl's hair drastically added the color. The photographer was not Michael but a guy named Peter Lueders. It was a simple set up just to document the process.
The next day was shot at Chelsea Market at The Space studios. (p.s. for my columbus heads, the chelsea market makes North Market look like a farm on a dirt road...ha).matrix hair products
