I'm pregnant and I've recently noticed large amounts of my hair falling out.. so I'm wondering if it will be safe to be taking hair vitamins that just contain the specific hair vitamins that reduce hair loss such as vitamin B6, B12 etc... these vitamins are safe whilst pregnant but i just want to be sure. And also if there any other ways i could do to prevent further hair loss that anyone knows of?

You should already be taking prenatal vitamins which include vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12 amongst many other vitamins and minerals, so adding another vitamin supplement could put you over the recommended daily maximum doses of some or all of these vitamins. While vitamins are generally healthy, there is such a thing as "too much of a good thing" when it comes to vitamins and you can actually get too much if you're taking supplements.
When in doubt, take both in to your pharmacist or doctor to confirm if it's ok to take them together, or add up each of the vitamins in both and make sure none go over the recommended daily maximum (use google to find it out for each vitamin -
