But that was the end of the "standard." This model is a little heavier than my other hair, weighing a sturdy bike that warranted for 4 years. Motor makes first dryer with enough oomph that I could hold the recommended 8-inch of my head and still get great heat and air flow to my hair. (And it was the first time the tip of the thumb and fingers finger is healing, they are constantly dry and chapped from the need to keep my old blow-dryer too close to the hand that holds te brush styling.) He has a tremendous surface - a sort of velvet-smooth composite that makes only slightly just drag so the hair does not slide around or off a table. And the best? This blow dryer is the quietest I've heard, made better by a lower court and whooshy, not high and whining. Oh-so-highly recommended!
