I have a synthetic hair wig that I wore last year strait from the box and it is getting kind of ratty/dirty. Since I used it. It has been sitting on a round holder that's made for it. It is very curly and quite long. Looks very realistic.
Can I comb/brush and/or wash it? Or will it lose its curl if I do so?
What kind of shampoo should I use?

I wouldn't brush curly synthetic hair if I were you. You'll end up ruining the curls. Just throw it away since you've already had it for a while. Synthetic hair is not made to last you for a long time. Start investing your money in human hair or human mix, it will save you money in the long run because you wont't have to keep replacing it when it goes bad.
