Three days before I was leaving for Europe, my Chi hair straightener broke. There are few things I swear by, but this is one of them. It ranks up there with the PC and toaster oven as far as most valuable modern machines (at least to me). So I rushed an order to get a new one, only to realize I couldn't use it anywhere in Europe because no power outlet could handle 300V.
