Okay so i'm growing my hair out for the first time ever (yay!) its currently about 2-3 inches long
i have noticed some issues with dandruff being worse than normal (it goes away then comes back)
and i was also wondering if there were any hair care tips for me? i want to grow it out to about 5-7 inches, but i want it to be soft luxurious hair, not the somewhat dry flaky kind i have now. i don't dye it and don't plan to if that helps. thanks!

As far as getting soft hair, I swear by Olive Oil! Get Extra Virgin Olive Oil and cover your hair with it, about once or twice a week. I usually heat it up a little bit and leave it in overnight (I put a bandana or shower cap over my head to help with it getting all over the place). Everyone's hair is different, so it may or may not work for you, but it has worked wonders for me- my hair seems shinier, super soft, and easier to manage. Just make sure to shampoo thoroughly so it doesn't look all greasy. Also is good for skin when you use in moderation. I pretty much replaced my usual facial moisturizer with it.
