i want to put blonde hair colour through my hair some way. My hair is dark brown and just passed shoulder length. Should I make it two-tone or streaks or what?

i think u should go with streaks because then u can choose whether u want them thick-thin, spread out-close together etc....

well my hair is very dark and i have had blonde highlights out thru it full head which it looks really nice.
ReplyDeleteBut the only thing is when you see your roots you have got to get them re-dun so if your willing to get your hair highlighted every 6-8 weeks then yeah you should get it done:)
Hey I would go with steaks cause all blond will just look orange on dark hair trust me been there done that if your going to a salon just ask them for extra higlights and if doing it yourself use a cap and make sure u have lots of hair pulled thru that way it will be all even and look like u have little brown highligts hope that helped
ReplyDeletestreaks, it looks really good and natural, like sun streaks. And if you like it alot, you can always add more and gradually go completely blonde or back to your normal color if it didnt look good. You can also do those colors that wash out after so many washings just to try it.
ReplyDeleteGetting only blonde put in your hair will be too much of a stark contrast. It would be much nicer (especially for your first time) to get two variations of blonde.
ReplyDeleteAsk your hair dresser for some light creamy blonde highlights, and also a caramel blonde. Get half of each. Doing it like this will create some nice depth and highlights to your hair whilst looking more natural and subtle. It wont look as though you've just got blonde stripes. =)
